OUR DAY

Autor del poema: Delmira Agustini
—Night's tent has ripped open to the East.— 10
Your spirit dawns marvelously; 7
Its light enters my soul as the sun enters a garden… 13
—The full sun. It rains fire. —Your love tempts, it is the cave 16
Velvety with moss, the stream, the fruit, 8
The pleasurable fruit fully ripened like honey. 14
—The Angelus. Your hands are two still wings, 11
My spirit bends like a branch of lilies, 10
And my body covers you… as subtle as a veil. 11
—The triumph of the night. From your most beautiful hands, 12
Flow all the shadows and all the stars, 9
And my body becomes as deep as the heavens! 11
